Spider canvas

My first canvas.  Stamped tissue paper adhered for background and painted on top and added gauze for texture.  The web sticker added on top along with gears.  Gears and spider are made with PMC, painted and all is touched up with silver Rubnbuff.  Original spider was Tim Holtz.  I made it black by recreating it in PMC.  Glued some gears on top and used Stickles for eyes.  This is inspired by RachO113 on Youtube.  Check her out - she does marvelous work!

Art Journal Coffee - inspired by the Three Muses

The page is about my obsession, coffee.  Multiple layers of gesso, paint and inks, mostly StazOn and Distress.  Backgound coffee stamps were from a grab bag and I've had them forever, not sure who made them.  I took a used coffee filter and wash it (but not too much), and tore it to add some texture to the background along with smell.  Yum!  It was stamped with a crackle background stamp too.  I also used some plain alpha stencils and sprayed walnut ink on.  I also took a piece of screen and used it as a stencil.

Cut the cup out of some BasicGrey patterned paper and used mostly Walnut Stain Distress ink to shade.  The whips were in my stash from a bygone ATC.  They were white heat embossed flourishes on brown card stock, cut out.

Dad's Squash Book

Inspired from RachO113 Youtube channel.  This measures 2 x 2 inches.

Twine was from stash.

Gears on top are watch parts from stash, Sizzix Tim Holtz Gears die cut with Melody Ross GCD Studios chipboard metal stamps to spell out "DAD" the large gear is from Bead Landing.

Tim Holtz distress inks by Ranger, stamps by Stampers Anonymous (background doesn't show up well), Papillon CMS106 and Ecogreen Crafts' Steampunk Accessories 2.

Aluminum Welcome

Ran over the top with tools from Technique Tuesday to give it that riveted look.  Topped with black acrylic paint that I wiped off to add patina.

Adhered chipboard on top of large W and covered with aluminum tape from the local hardware store in the plumbing section.  Tool shown from Technique Tuesday - I burnished it on with it.
