Art tiles made from wood.

Wood squares from Michaels (these measure 1.5 inches), Gesso, stamped with Hero Arts Friends background stamp, more Gesso, sampled again with a variety of stamps including Inkadindado inches,  rubbed and tapped some acrylic paints on top.  Covered with 3D Crystal Lacquer by Sakura and imbedded micro beads from Martha Stewart.

The Discover tile was covered with Crackle Accents by Ranger.

All together - they measure 1 1/2 inch, 1 1/8 inch and the tiny ones are 9/16 inch.

Inked background sprayed with several inks which include October Afternoon and Ranger.  Background stamped with stamps by Ecogreen Crafts, Steampunk Accessories 2.  Gears are by Spellbinders, Sprightly Sprockets, sprayed with ink and topped with Rubnbuff.

Altered "B" made with chipboard, modeling paste, aluminum foil,  various odds and ends from my stash, such as jump rings, buttons, brads, paperclips, etc. and lots of paint topped with Rubnbuff.

Page 1 of art journal.  Gesso, stamp by Inkadinkado, ink was Stazon, embossing folder is Provo Craft (Cuttlebug), butterflies is Paper Studio and EK Success.  My first attempt at steampunk.

This was inspired by RachO113 - a wonderful artist - see her Youtube channel here http://www.youtube.com/user/RachO113,  This is my ATCs album with paper, gauze and tons of ink ( Willow Walnut ink by Tsukinek and Purple Twilight by Ranger's Color Wash line) adhered to it with the help of gel medium.  The A, T and C are embossing powder with text imbedded.  Flowers are inked with Ranger spray ink.

Gear box

Altered christmas box.  Painted with black Gesso, sprayed with ink using homemade masks.  Adhered black paper that had been dry embossed and then painted with black gesso and topped with Rubnbuff.  Gears adhered with pop dots.  Gears painted with metallic paint and topped with Rubnbuff.  Chain added that wraps around.
