Home sweet home with Ping introduction

Adhered chipboard and painted with acrylics.  Sprayed with some inks and accented with Perfect Pearls.  The roofs are plumbers aluminum tape ran through my Fiskars cardboard crinkler.  Stamps are Inkadindado.

Introducing Ping.  He wants to be a superstar.  He says I'm holding him back, and he wants to have his picture on my blog.  I said - just this once unless by some miracle there is a large demand.

Door and hardware for inspiration

I don't have any creations done yet, so I thought I would share some photos of various hardware and a door that I took this afternoon.  

Summer Flower Cards

Strips of scrapbook paper a gift from my step-mom (Thank you Marcia!).  The colors inspired the rest of the card.  Stamp from BasicGrey and topped with Perfect Pearls (Ranger).  Background is torn sheets from an antique dictionary, with gesso on top and Distress Inks (Ranger).  Flowers were a bit complicated.  Started out with the instruction sheet out of a McCalls sewing pattern, then torn bits of the pattern itself Modge-Pod collaged on top.  Cut out flowers with Big Shots using Tim Holtz flower dies and spray with various colors of Tattered Angels ink.  Curled the petals and topped with either paint or Stickles.  Topped the center brad with Stickles too.
